Participant comments
Researcher
- All the doctoral students were proactive and offered very good ideas, which motivated me to work hard too.
- It was very helpful in terms of how to promote yourself during job hunting and in terms of presentation skills.
- I noticed that corporate researchers tend to look more at things like research ability rather than expertise.
- I felt that what companies look for in doctoral candidates is how seriously they have engaged in research, regardless of the field.
- I felt that they didn't value expertise as much as I thought they would.
- I believe it was a valuable opportunity for both parties to come into closer contact, rather than a one-way event like a company information session.
Enterprise
- I thought it was a good opportunity to be able to reach out to people who needed it in a small group setting.
- During the half-day session, I was able to have close contact with many more excellent students than I had expected, which was a very valuable opportunity. The doctoral students' presentations were also excellent, as they were well-thought-out and easy to understand, and kept their presentations short.
- I participate in a variety of events, but Akaiito-Kai is the most solid and allows me to have deep, efficient interactions with a variety of people.
- This was my first time participating, but it was a good opportunity to interact with many doctoral students.
- I just felt that the time available for interaction with doctoral students on the day was short, at 8-9 minutes. I think that if the time had been a few minutes longer, the questions could have been asked in more depth. Other than that, all the students were well prepared, and everyone was eager to gather information, so I think they were all excellent students.
- This is a very well thought-out initiative and I look forward to it every year. Thank you very much.
