Special Event – Site Visit to Takenaka Research & Development Institute, Chiba prefecture
This is a special event targeted for internatilnal DC students and Postdocs.

I-HoP will take a total of 3 Doctor Course students and Postdocs of Hokkaido University to the Takenaka Research & Development Institute in Chiba prefecture on November 14th.
The purpose of this site visit is expanding your network and experiences so that you can consider your career path more widely.

The flight ticket will be arranged and transportation fee covered by Hokkaido University. (Estimated to be one day trip.)
The participants will have the opportunity to take the institute tour in English and may have the opporunity to discuss about your research with Takenaka’s researchers in English .
*Though this site visit is conducted in English, to be employed with Takenaka, JLPT N2 or higher will be required.

Special Event - Visit to Takenaka Technical Research Institute -
This is a special event for international Doctoral course students and postdocs.

Front Office for Human Resource Education and Development, I-HoP, will organize a visit to the Takenaka Technical Research Institute for the purpose of supporting the career development of Doctoral course students and postdoctoral fellows. The tour of the institute will be conducted in English. There is also the possibility of having an opportunity to discuss in English with Takenaka Corporation researchers.
The purpose of this program is to broaden future career paths by visiting cutting-edge research laboratories at companies and gaining new knowledge.
Transportation costs will be covered by Front Office for Human Resource Education and Development in accordance with university regulations (a one-day trip between New Chitose and Narita is planned).

Please note: This event will be conducted in English, but to work at Takenaka Corporation, you will need Japanese language proficiency level N2 or above.
