Internship Candidate Recruitment

Doctoral Human Resource Development Unit (S-cubic) promotes a support program for corporate Internship targeting Hokkaido University's doctoral and postdoctoral students.

For young DC and PD researchers considering working in corporate R&D as a career in the (near) future, I think that Internship experience at an actual company will be of great significance. You can experience corporate R&D work by seeing the actual workplace and interacting with senior employees. Companies are increasingly hiring PhDs these days, and Internship experience is also recommended.

We will not only help you with Internship companies are publicly recruiting for, but also help you make contact with the companies of your choice. We do not cover all expenses, but we also have a system in place to support part of your travel and accommodation costs. Why not take advantage of this opportunity to apply? 2. Graduate School of Life Science, Department of Life Science, Graduate School (Doctoral) Specialized Subject "Doctoral Internship" (2 credits)

*Please register the name of the course for which you need credits depending on your graduate school.

Doctoral course students (DC) and post-doctors　(PD) (PD) affiliated with Hokkaido University *Those who have received their doctorate within the last five years

Job-based research Internship

The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology launched a "job-type research internship" system in 2021 with the aim of creating an environment where talented graduate students can choose to proceed to doctoral studies with confidence, providing graduate education through collaboration between industry and universities, and cultivating practical skills backed by research capabilities that can withstand international Internship.

Job-Based Research Internship Overview

This is a system in which students participate in long-term (two months or more) paid research Internship at domestic companies, receive an evaluation of their work, and earn credits.
* Doctoral course students who have the basic knowledge and ability to carry out research.
