Information on individual career consultations

Doctoral Human Resource Development Unit offers individual career counseling (J-window) for doctoral candidates.
In addition to providing consultations regarding career path choices, we also offer job-hunting support, including interview preparation.

• I don't know what I want to do in the future
• I am the only DC in the lab. No one has ever worked for a company, so there is no information about finding a job.
• I'm in D1 and I don't know what to do now.
• I want help correcting my application form and practicing for interviews.
• I want to find a company where I can thrive

It's never too late to seek advice, but the sooner you do, the more options you'll have.

Target Audience

• Graduate students (DC) and above from Hokkaido University

*Graduate students (MCs) at Hokkaido University can receive support from Undergraduate and Master’s Career Development Unit, but MCs who are considering pursuing a doctoral degree can also consult with Doctoral Human Resource Development Unit.

If you find a company or researcher you would like to contact on Hi-System

J-window is a program that acts as a career window to support researchers in their job-hunting activities by building links between companies and researchers, matching researchers' areas of expertise with companies, and offering advice on how to select a company and how to create a career plan.
In addition, we also collect researcher attitude surveys, corporate job information, and act as a contact point for users to carry out various procedures. If you find a company or researcher you would like to contact on Hi-System, please contact S-cubic office.
After confirming with the other party, our office will contact you to let you know the contact information and contact method.
