Participant comments
- It was very informative to learn about the careers of people who have earned degrees in humanities and social sciences.
- This was my first time participating, and I was able to hear some very valuable talks. In particular, I was able to learn about the way of thinking and the mindset regarding my career from someone with the same liberal arts background, which gave me the opportunity to face the anxieties and worries I am currently having. Thank you very much.
- Although it was billed as career support for doctoral students, I had the impression that the so-called humanities were relegated to the sidelines, but this time the content was focused on the humanities and there were more psychology students, so it was useful as a role model.
- Regarding my career plan, I was able to clarify what I should do and in what time frame. Also, since I was not yet sure about the life of a doctoral student, I was able to get a better idea of what I would do if I went on to graduate school.
- It felt special and informative to be able to hear personal stories face-to-face and to hear autobiographical information.
- Thank you for planning such a wonderful event! At the end, I was able to talk to you directly and think again about what I want to do and what I need to do. Thank you for opening your doors to other universities. It was very interesting. The lecturers also told interesting stories about their unique careers, and their research was also interesting. I was torn between working for the company that offered me a job and continuing on to graduate school, so this was good material for me to think about it.
