Advanced COLA
Advanced COLA: Course of Liberal Arts Administration for Young Scholars in the Humanities and Social Sciences
We will invite three business people who are active in the industry after graduating from a humanities or social science graduate school (doctoral course), and they will talk about how the learning and education at a humanities or social science graduate school can be utilized in the industry, and the reality and appeal of corporate activities that are difficult to learn about at a university. In the second half of the event, there will be a panel discussion to discuss social problem solving that only a humanities or social science doctorate can provide, as well as questions submitted by the students. There will also be time set aside for you to ask the lecturers individual questions, so please use this as an opportunity to broaden and think about your career path.
Lecture Contents
Lecturers invited from companies etc. will give a 45-minute lecture each.
- The potential of industry as a place for doctorates in humanities and social sciences
- Why did you choose the industrial sector? What were the events and thoughts that led you to that decision?
- Advice for Graduate Students (undergraduate (BC)) in Humanities and Social Sciences
He will talk about these topics and more.
The first half of the lecture will be individual lectures, followed by a panel discussion with all lecturers and a workshop-style Q&A session.
