Participant comments
- When negotiating something with the other party, it is better to prepare thoroughly and the contents of that preparation (MAGIC). When a project is nearing the end, humans psychologically want to finish it quickly. When negotiating, understand your own strengths and put them forward.
- I learned that negotiations are not about defeating the other party, but about achieving something that is beneficial for both parties.
- I often found myself unable to refuse and taking on various chores, leaving me with no time to myself. I want to continue my research with the same cooperative attitude and the confidence that my own time is important.
- It is important to take a "good for you, great for me" stance, rather than putting the other person at a disadvantage. It is important to be able to grasp the situation, anticipate what may happen in the future, and take measures.
