Participant comments
- I feel like I can express what I want to say more clearly during discussions with my supervisor. I also feel like I have become aware of my own way of thinking and have broadened my perspective.
- The idea of first discussing each other's wishes to come to a common understanding, and then initiating negotiations was an eye-opener and something I think I can use in my research life. I would like to put this into practice as much as possible in the future.
- Through the exercise, I realized that I have a habit of starting negotiations assuming that I will make concessions.
- Before taking the course, I had the image that negotiation was about behaving cunningly to trap the other party, and I would rather reject that position. After hearing about the importance of common understanding in strategy, I felt that I wanted to continue acquiring this knowledge in the future.
