Participant comments
- I wasn't originally particularly interested in working in research and development, but it was very interesting to hear many stories from people who ended up in jobs other than research and development.
- I realized that there are many different ways to find your career, some proactive and some passive.
- Hearing about the actual work involved was very helpful in gaining a concrete understanding of research positions, etc. Discussions about whether working in a company or in academia is more difficult left an impression on me, as it allowed me to imagine how different the environments are based on each individual's values.
