Participant comments

  • The diverse approaches and fields of work of the alumni who spoke allowed me to realistically simulate my own future job search, including considering who I was most similar to and who I could use as a role model. Many speakers seemed to regret not starting their preparations for application forms and aptitude tests earlier, so I decided to start working on what I can do right away.
  • I learned a great deal not only from the doctoral students who had already received job offers, but also from the questions asked by the senior students who participated. It was a very enriching experience for me, as I don't know much about job hunting.
  • I was able to learn about the timing and necessary aspects of job hunting, as well as how people perceived things before job hunting and how they actually experienced them.
  • I found the idea of this being a matching platform with companies, rather than a platform for evaluation by companies, and the understanding that each individual has a different schedule and background, particularly helpful.
