Participant comments
- I was able to hear about career paths for humanities PhDs, something I wouldn't have heard at other job-hunting events for PhDs. Also, the career paths of the three speakers were all very different.
- The presentations by each of the three speakers, each sharing their unique career paths, helped me break down my own preconceived notions about my own career.
- I've realized that no matter what kind of career you aim for, the most important thing is to ask yourself, "What do I want to do?"
- After graduating from my doctoral program, I gained a clearer understanding of the possibility of continuing my research outside of academia, such as through entrepreneurship or working at a private research institute.
- It became clear what criteria I use when making career choices.
