USA Site Visit in Research Triangle Park
Special Event – USA Site Visit in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina.
This is a special event targeted for DC students and Postdocs.
I-HoP will host a group tour from October 13th through 20th 2019, taking total five Doctor Course students and Postdocs of Hokkaido University to the laboratories of companies and university in Research Triangle Park (RTP) in North Carolina, USA.
The purpose of this site visit is expanding your network and experiences so that you can consider your career path more widely.
All the transportation and hotel accommodations will be arranged and covered by Hokkaido University. (Participants are required to prepare the passport and visa or ESTA by themselves.)
The participants will have the opportunity of giving a presentation and discussion in English about your research to the companies.
■ Schedule:
July 24th: Deadline for application
Beginning of August:The result of document screening will be notified
End of August: Kick-off meeting
From End of August to Beginning of October: Practice for English presentation
Oct.13th: Departure from Sapporo (*Hakodate campus participants: Negotiable)
Oct.14th – 17th: Visiting the companies and university
Oct.18th: Despatch from North Carolina
Oct.20th: Arriving at Sapporo (estimated)
