CAREER LINK MEETUP 2021 -For international DC and PDs-

I-Hop will provide international doctoral course students and postdocs the special opportunity to meet up with Japanese companies who are looking to hire international talents in ENGLISH.
In Japan, most of the companies require their applicants to have high level Japanese language proficiency .
To prepare for the job-hunting in Japan, the first recommendation is still learning Japanese and get the certificate of N1 level on JLPT.
However, some companies do not require Japanese language in the application step.
I-HoP will invite some of those companies and provide you of the opportunity to meet and talk online with their representatives.

Hokkaido University international doctoral course students and postdocs (As of Oct and Nov. 2021) those who can communicate in English and will be able to meet the following preparation schedule:
-Oct. 18 4:00pm (Mon.) : Application through Hi-System deadline (Submit application form by Oct.19)
-Oct. 19 (Tue.) : Deadline for “Motivation letter” submission on Hi-System
-Oct. 21 (Thu.) : Notification for the result of the document screening
-Oct. 27 (Wed.) : Deadline for the drafts of “presentation slide” submission
-Oct. 28 (Thu.) afternoon : Presentation rehearsal & Orientation (online) *All participants will be required to attend.
-Nov. 8 (Mon.) : Deadline for the revised presentation slide submission (Only who would like to be checked again)
-Nov.12 (Fri.) Deadline for the final version of the presentation slides submission
-Nov 30 (Tue.) noon to the evening : CAREER LINK MEETUP!
■ Application
Complete both 2 steps as follows:
(1)Apply from Hi-System by Oct. 18 (Mon.) 4:00pm
(2)Upload the “Motivation letter” on Hi-System by Oct.19 (Tue.)
