Transferable Skills Seminar – How to navigate “The era of VUCA”-

We are living in VUCA (volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous) era and may sometimes get caught up in pessimistic thinking.

In this event, you will learn and practice “resilience” to survive this difficult era.

This transferable skills seminar is targeted for international researchers (DC, PD).
Seminar will be conducted in English.

Professor, Department of Leadership and Innovation, Graduate School of
Leadership and Innovation, Shizenkan University

Junko Edahiro is a Japan-based sustainability expert working to create a resilient and happy future. She conducts seminars
and works as a consultant, has written many books on the environment
and energy, resilience, animal welfare, and has translated dozens
of books into Japanese, including “An Inconvenient Truth” by Al Gore.
She also works as an advisor to help build resilient communities
and local economies through approaches that include systems thinking
and scenario planning. Recent local community projects include Ama
Town in Shimane Prefecture and Shimokawa Town in Hokkaido.
